It seems to me that it is not the right way in some cases because it undermines the privacy of people but I also recognize that it may be the necessary tool against possible dangers for a country.

I do not think that people should be that monitored, even though it can work to prevent posible dangers to society, some companies go further than that, just to sell your profile to other companies that might have what your interests show.

Do you think it is faired to be controled in that way? Why? Why not?
I’m agreed because nowadays there are a lot of people in the world trying to do bad things such terrorism. To me it is well that the government can control your information, actually it is not the government, it is a computer that base on your activities sort of you, if your activities are suspicious then someone analyzes you, but don’t be paranoid, no one is watching you all the time. We are not as important as we think we are to the governments.

In my opinion, nowadays most of the countries have security problems related with terrorism as example. The use of technology to control the people movement can be used as a tool. However, the sensibility of information and the privacy should be protected and use only in necessary cases.

I do not really mind being tracked as the article mentions, it is not like every security guard or every person that has access to that information is 24/7 looking at your information in particular, it would be impossible since it is a ton of input data that they are constantly receiving each second. Most of this tracking is made for security reasons, so that for instance if a big tragedy occurs, then the authorities have enough data to make a proper investigation. As long as you are not doing something wrong, then you should be fine; althought hiding cameras in changing rooms is disgusting.

Do you think it is faired to be controlled in that way? Why? Why not?
I think in certain way it’s unfair because it seems like I am being controlled every minute on everything I do but I think sometimes it can be useful, for example if you get robed or if someone kidnaps you or in case someone is planning on a terrorist attack they can prevent it. But also, if the wrong person gets that information it can be dangerous.

Today, recording and controlling what other people do is very common. Companies do this because they want to controll users likes, and get new ideas for new products, for example. So they are getting other people information for a good cause. The problem of being controlled that way is that there can be someone who wants to steal that information because they want money, or they want to steal your identity, so that's a problem.

It is a very sensible topic, because I think it is a good idea to have the possibility to track all the people, and use this information as a tool for security, but also it has the potential to be used to do bad thigs, the control in the wrong hands, is very dangerous.

As long as the gathered information is not being used to damage or threaten someone, it is not unfair to be tracked like that. In fact, if you don't show any particular behaviour, probably your information won't even be notice, but it is very useful to track criminals.

In some cases I think people shoud be asked if they allow government or other institutions to track their activities. But, for example, if police needs to track someone because he or she could be dangerous or be on a dangerous situation, it would be really useful to be able to access to the location of that person or a file that could help police or other institution to find a way to track that person.
